-Beyond Hayden Project 2006

The summer of 2006 marked the first season for the Beyond Hayden Project. The Beyond Hayden Project seeks to educate and inspire the scientists of tomorrow based on ecological and geospatial science training centered on Yellowstone National Park. This year, the crew of five worked on many projects over the course of the summer. Many projects also meant a lot of country to cover—from the volcanic desert near Idaho Falls, to the Targhee National Forest on the rim of a caldera, to the Lamar valley in Yellowstone National Park.
